Digi IX20

The Digi IX20 family of routers has a single part number, which simplifies inventory control for global distribution and deployment. In addition, Digi IX20 is designed for Digi CORE® plug-in LTE modems that can be changed out or upgraded without replacing the entire router. Digi CORE plug-in LTE modem with dual SIM support.

Digi IX20 Firmware

Warning: Digi EX/IX/TX-series devices running 24.3.28.88 or older firmware must upgrade to version 24.6.17.54 before upgrading to a newer firmware. Firmware version 24.6.17.54 is a step-firmware image for the EX/IX/TX-series product.

Warning: If your IX20 device revision is RevAN or newer, you cannot downgraded to a firmware version older than 23.6.1.105, otherwise the IX20 will not be able to establish a cellular connection.

Warning: Starting in firmware version 23.12.1.56, the watchdog system inside the Digi router will automatically re-power the cellular modem inside the Digi router if the modem is not initialized for more than one hour, and reboot the entire Digi router if the modem is un-initialized for more than 2 hours.  Please read the release notes for information on disabling this option.
