Installation:

1) If manual "Uninstallation" capability is desired, back up, move, or rename
all existing files that match the names listed in "TN226.zip Contents" above
so that WinZip will not replace them in the next step.

2) Set WinZip to pay attention to the extra stored path information in this ZIP
file, then extract all files into the main Dynamic C installation directory.
If the original files were not moved or renamed as described in the previous
step, instruct WinZip to replace the original files.

3) To program a flash type that uses a sector or page erase command that is
different from the one used by the currently installed BIOS\pilot.bin file,
replace the current BIOS\pilot.bin file with a copy of the appropriate one of
the BIOS\pilot_0x20.bin ("SST alternate" sector erase for SST29VFxxx),
BIOS\pilot_0x30.bin ("Atmel standard" sector erase for most supported types),
or BIOS\pilot_0x50.bin ("Winbond" page erase for W39L020) files.

Uninstallation:

If step 1 of "Installation" was not performed, all changes made in the files
replaced during the installation of the files in TN226.zip have been lost. The
Dynamic C CD's installation program may be used to restore the original files.

1) Delete all of the files listed in "TN226.zip Contents" above.

2) Restore all previous existing backed up, moved, or renamed files.

Usage:

The files in this ZIP are intended for use with Dynamic C 7.3x through 8.0x, and
perhaps also later patch versions. The next upgrade release of Dynamic C is
expected to provide flash support equivalent to that in TN226.zip, but without
the need for multiple pilot BIOS files.
